Aeon is a work in which Demirci engraves constitutional rights on marble tablets, alluding to the perishability of the invisible. The hard-to-see space between existence and non-existence provides a secure sanctuary for eternity. The lasting power of the material from which they are carved over the ages is linked to the words, which are preserved in the expectation of the future emergence of conditions that do not exist now. The lightning source evocative of the the total solar eclipse shadowed by its own moon, which is completely concealed by the opaque material.
